The yoga strap may be tricky — the reason a resistance band (or leggings/tights) is preferred is that it’s flexible, so you can place it around your knees and it’ll stay there as long as you keep them wide enough, and then there’s some give so your knees can widen as you move. Since a yoga strap isn’t flexible, you may need to do some trial and error to figure out how tight to make it so it doesn’t fall off your legs or dig into them as you move. See how it goes but if it doesn’t work, consider a different piece of equipment — it’s probably the strap’s fault and not yours!
